I got an easy one for you, Sometimes When I pull up to a stop sign my lights would Dim, and then brighten. I thought it might be the Altinator, because my lights will Dim slightly when stopped at night. So I changed My Alt.

My lights seem Brighter, and it runs slightly better, BUT still every now and then my lights will Dim for a split second and then come back up...

My first thought is the Battery Connections, Is there anything else that could cause this, or I should check before I go looking???

Check your grounds and the wiring. If it only happens when you are coming to a stop you might have a loose connection somewhere.

 

Sometimes as you come to a stop & engine speed drops.The RPMs will drop a little too low & cause that.Check your idle speed as complete the stop.Or raise the idle speed slightly to see if that fixes your problem.

 

I have the same problem, my idle is too low.

 

... Actually it does not happen only when I am coming to a stop.. I fixed that much, my Alt was going out... But I have had it happen just driving down the road... If I get a chance I will tighten the connections I can find...
