Stupid Question.. Should be easy to answer though.

Ok I just bought my first f-body. It is a 87 GTA..

I have been chasing down wiring problems for about a month now and have most of them fixed. I decided to start on the Cruise Control today and get it working. LOL

I actually have cruise control because I have all the stuff under the hood but I cant seem to find the controls inside the car for it. They are not in the turn signal and I have a 87 GTA so all I have on my steering wheel is a horn button that does not work.

I have a digital dash is that makes any difference.

I am very surprised at this car so far. The body is MINT and leather is about 8.5 or a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. It runs perfect but it has about 1,000 wiring problems. It took me about a week to get the AC working correct again. I still dont have wipers and have to chase that down.

Are all these wiring problems normal for 3rd gen or has my car just had a bunch of crappy owners?

Dont forget the cruise control question also..

sounds like someone replaced the arm with a non cruz unit. look at the base of the coulmn and see if there is a 2 prong sorta wide sorta flat plug foating round down there. that plug is for the curz function.
