Headlight doors w/fog lights
Did a search, couldn't find anything on this. For some reason I have a hard time believing I'm the only person with this problem.
When my fog light switch is on, if I turn on the parking lights, the headlight doors pop up but the lights are off. The same thing happens if I turn the parking lights on first, then turn on the fog lights. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem I believe its a short in the switch because if I push the parking light button on very slowly it just turns on the parking lights and no head lights took me a little bit to figure it out but now I can always just turn on my parking lights and not pop up the headlights that are off lol

Thanks, I totally forgot that the switch is designed with a feature to pop up the lights without turning on for maintenance, and the switch with a short would cause this undesirable effect. I won't have time till Monday but at least I won't waste time and I'll start with the switch.

Hmmm... I pulled the switch today and saw no problem in the immediate area with the wiring/harness. Oddly enough though its not acting up after I pulled out the switch. I had this prob when I first got the car and it disappeared. Being I'm not the only one I'll keep searching and keep you guys posted.
