gauge lights
ok, i just got a 1991 RS camaro. im gonna replace my gauges once i find a 145mph cluster. im gonna replace the bulbs with bright white bulbs. looked at some LED's that are 194 mount.
Anyone used these?
but what i would use if those dont have a wide angle of light is these. These burn at 5000K which is bright
any opinions?

That's a lot o loot!!!!
$13 a pair for the LEDs and $11 a pair for the 5000K!!!
Man, I would just buy some really nice replacements and make sure I had good voltage at the plugs.
Were you going to replace all the bulbs, or just the ones that are on all the time????

Also in response to your question I wouldn't splurge that much extra cash for brighter bulbs unless of course the stock ones are really bad but like i said ive never seen them...

well, also check your fuses. the bulbs are held in by little "sockets" that the bulb just pulls right out if. these bulbs are a good 12+ years old. replaced bulbs in the dash of my old 240sx, and it helped out so much. im thinking about getting some of the 5000K bulbs with tax return.

Guage lights
Another way to get brighter dash/gage lights is to chrome plate the reflector bezel. Behind the Gage Pod Cover (Black plastic), and then behind the clear gage lens cover, is the metal gauge bezel (Black on outer surface and reflective blue on inner surface). Chrome this metal bezel, and re-spray flat black on the outer surface (like the outer surface was originally) - The new brightness is amazing. Cocacolakidd
