I have an 83 firebird that only has the speedo and fuel gauge and the idiot lights. I want to redo the whole thing so I can have the all common gauges and I just want to see what everyone else has done for some ideas so post any pics you have. Also with the speedometer, I'm not sure how a new one would work in my car. How would I go about calibrating a new one. My old one has the cable going straight to the gauge. I have a complete instrument cluster from an 84 firebird and the speedometer dosen't have a hookup for the cable. I'm not sure if I want to put that one in but if I did what would I need to get that speedo to work? Here's a pic of what I have in my car now. Any ideas would be helpful.
