Keep blowing running lights fuse

Alright im pulling my hair on this one every time I turn off the headlights, it blows the running lights. I figured ok maybe it is the head light swithc shorting out, replaced it headlight motors and runing lights worked, no problems.. lights went down everything turned off, turnbed on and off the light switch 5 times, thinkin alright got the problem solved....

Did it the sixth time, blew the damn fuse to the running lights again. I havent gone deep into the dash to probe around for a chaffed wire or bad ground, it just started this a week ago never had the problem before.

Could it be a motor on one of the headlights takin a carp and putting a heavy load on the fuse? or is it something im over looking now? dont have mositure in any of my lights, i even went around the car cleaned all the contacts for the light bulbs, cleaned the contacts to the headlight switch.

Any advice would be helpful, im almost to the point of ripping the dash out of the car and getting a new wire kit for the car.

Sorry if you've had a bad experience. Sometimes, threads don't generate a lot of traffic right away. Moderators sometimes tend to leave them for other members to reply and participate before jumping in themselves.

Which fuse is actually blowing? There are a couple for the running light circuits, and the instrument lamps.
