mechanical or electronic guages in 85 TA?

I had an 84 TA 305 L69 when I first joined, unfortunately I lost her to an accident. Now I have an 85 TA 305 LG4, 5sp manual. My question is does my 85 have mechanical guages like my 84 had, or are they electrical? Thanks for the help.

Mechanical gauges (except the speedometer) were never used in any thirdgen.

re:

Cool, thanks. What I meant was does my speedo in my 85 use a speedo cable from my tranny or an electronic speed sensor. thanks again for the info.

85 should be a mechanical speedometer. 86 was the first year for electronic speedos in Firebirds, 90 in Camaros.
