Hi, i'am use to coils that only have + and -.
On my friends camaro (HEI with external coil) it seems to be 4 connections. Why so many connection and how do i know wich to use? (We don't use any original wire harness)
Please help me out.

I've checked the Chilton manual but have'nt found the answer, can't really be that complicated?

 

HEI distributors are stand alone, there should be a small wiring harness on it to connect to the cap, all u need is a hot wire to feed the battery connection and a wire that connects to ur tach

 

Yes, but we are not using any of the original wiring harness...
I guess it would work with a batteri + and ignition module output "Trigger" for ground?
