in my 04' durango, and many other newer cars, the drivers side window has an auto-down power window switch built into the regular switch.... u hold the switch until u get your desired window position or u can press it until it clicks and the window goes all the way down without u having to press the switch continually... has anyone ever done this for their 3rd gen? if so, how? i was gonna go thru the junk yard and look for some parts from a newer car and try and use it my iroc...

 

From reading other posts, it seems that some Saturn switches have the capability built in. But they will not fit into a 3rdgen console though. If you wanted to do some custom work, it might work. I am going to get a DEI 530T module that allows you to use your stock switches and get the one touch up and down.

 

(the dei) where r u buying it from? and for the saturan, do i have to grab all the wires and relays, etc.....????

 

Here is one place to get the DEI module. The lowest prices I have found for them is on eBay, so that is likely where I'll get it. Runs close to $60.

For the Saturn switches, do a search. You should find more info and decide if you want to go that route. If I remember though, the one touch down was only for the driver's side.
