speedo gauge cluster , some gauges not working can you help?

speedo gauge cluster , some gauges not working can you help?

my fuel gauge does not work, tach does not work, and oil pressure does not work, i have a 90 rs w/ 115 mph yellow speedo cluster 3.1 and 700r4, although speedo, engine temp and volts work

Take out the gauge cluster and put it back in. Sometimes the cluster will not be bolted/screwed in tight enough and things wont work.

If that doesn't fix the problem, check the resistance in the printed circuit on the back of the cluster.

what is the resistance?????

ok, it was bolted in all the way, took it out and put back in, still no good, checked to make sure it was connecting right, the tach jumped left and right when i put the cluster in place and pulled it back, does that mean anything?

the tach, oil and voltmeter are on the same fuse if i remember correctly.. did you check the fuse box to see if it burned out. I remember the same thing happened when i frist got my 82....

speedo not working

is the speedo on its own fuse or is it driven by a cable cause mine is notworking at all? I have a 25th anniversary rs if that makes any difference
