Carb Swap Fans/Fuel Pump Switches

hey guys. i wired up some switches for this carb swap im doing tomorrow. i wired a fuel pump switch, fan switch, and have another switch for tcc when i get around to hooking it up.

well the problem is when i switch on the fuel pump switch i can hear it turn on then when i turn on the fan switch the fuel pump shuts off even with the switch on. and if i leave the fuel pump switch on and turn the fan switch off the fans keep running even with the fan switch on. so here let me lay that out...

Fuel switch on - pump on
fan switch on - pump turns off fans come on
fan switch off fuel switch on - fans run no pump
fan switch on fuel switch off - fans run

so if i turn the fans on the fuel pump shuts off is pretty much what i am saying. and when you turn the fan switch off and have the fuel switch on the fuel pump doesnt come back on but the fans stay running. any ideas?

You have something wired wrong
How about posting up a diagram of what you have done?
