Electric gremlins attack
Normally I post in a few select sections of TGO, however, I recently encountered a [big] drop on my ALT guage. [now riding at about 9~10volt]
I reported trying a late model (2003/4) Delco CD player that seems to have put a terminal drain on my electrical system, in effect 'killing' my factory spec alternator. My car is an '89 Formula 350.
Right now, in my Firebird and Cadillac Deville, the horns don't work and the battery to radio terminal that gives a consistant memory voltage are cut off when the door opens, or the key removed.
In the Firebird, door locks and electric mirrors stopped working, as did the trunk electric pull-down on the Bird. All underdash fuses appear good.
Any help, much appreciated!!

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
Headlights, taillights and brakelights not working either? Hazard flasher not working, but turn signals are working?

Nope, got turn signals, cancel cam seems to be a problem, but haven't tested throughly [sp?] Headlights and taillights not a problem. I should have said, I haven't tested the hazards so I'll do that next.
I was testing a 2003/4 RDS CD player and got it working tieing 12v connections together to the radio, I think that put a dangerous drain on the stock alternator and now the car is running primarily under the battery power, I have to keep a charge on it every few days
I do suspect it's more then a corroded button terminal as it's more then a single thing not working
