Alternator/Battery
I guess it's finally time to spruce up the Z...first up, electrical system.
I've rebuilt my stock alternator twice and it's ready once again. My battery is kaput. It's been awhile and I'm feeling slightly stupid, but I seem to remember bridging my subs in a way I wasn't supposed to (on purpose), which may add to the problems I've had.
I don't want to deal with a lack of power any more...what's my best option? A gel cell or big battery(1000 CCA)...I've heard the gel won't recharge as quickly, and if I just use the bigger battery with a beefy alternator I won't have any problems. So what amp alt should I throw in?
Thanks for the advice....
