installing a factory tach and gauges on a '87
Hi everyone, My '87 Camaro convertible did not come with factory gauges and I'd like to put them in, has anyone out there done this? My car has the LG4 305 and 700R4. is the wiring harness the same for cars with gauges and without. please help, and the if anyone has a gauge set up for a '87 LG4 please let me know....... You will have to change out the idiot light senders for actual gauge senders (water & oil).
As long as you are changing the entire cluster, it's P-n-P.

As long as your switching out clusters (gauges and white part they are mounted to), yes.. plug & play, plus the sender swapping.
