Best Hi Torque mini starter?

Subject pretty much says it. Not yet sure whether it's the practically new Optima red top battery I got 4 months ago, or the brand X cheap mini starter causing the problem.

I do know the starter suddenly doesn't have enough power to turn it fast enough to start, it'll barely nudge the engine and the battery drops volts quickly when I attempt to start it. Then just a click. Connections are good - I checked that first.

Whether it's because the starter is drawing an insane amount of amps because it the starter is shot, or my battery went south - have'nt figured that out. I don't have an amp draw meter, so is there another way to check which is bad? - Other than puling another battery out of my truck (it's a pain to take out).....

OK - I found out it is the starter. Battery's fully charged and it'll only click and motor doesn't turn at all now.

What is a good starter to get that doesn't have heat soak problems?? Ordering today whether anyone has an idea or not - Thanks in advance!

OK, I guess the question was worded badly...So what type of starter seems to be more resistant to getting heat soaked??

Not trying to start a war over who's starter is 'Best", if that's why everyone doesn't want to respond. Looks like I'll try the Powermaster XL and see if that one's any better. Thanks anyway I guess...
