Painless and oil pressure
*cough trickster help cough*
I have a maf style painless wiring harness and i was wondering what my options were for the oil pressure switch. There`are two wires coming from the harness that are both labelled "oil." I'm guessing one is for the guage in the car and the other goes to the fuel pump relay. Is their another option to getting a Tee Fitting and buying another oil pressure switch? Is their a way to splice these wires around, even using a different oil pressure switch?

Gauge sender and switch are in one unit above the oil filter for 92. 87 has the switch at the filter and the gauge sender next to the distributor.
The switch is not needed for fuel pump operation. It's merely a backup switch for if the relay fails.
Should be 2 wires for the switch. One is connected to the incomming power from the battery to the relay, The other wire bypasses the relay and connects to the power to the pump wire.
My 91 it's orange and grey, my 87 is orange and black.
