HELP! Passenger power lock unlocks by itself
We had some heavy rain/freezing temps here in north NJ the past few weeks. I finally got my new alternator on and reconnected the battery after 2 weeks of sitting, and now the passenger side power lock keeps unlocking by itself?!!! I am just stumped. I walked back outside to reconnect my intake tubing and put everything back together and heard this clicking about 10 feet from the car. I thought maybe the power hatch motor went, but after further investigation, only the passenger side power lock keeps unlocking by itself. I locked it manually and it just pops back in the unlocked position. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

did you leave it outside for two weeks during these heavy rains. If you did, i'm guessing you got some water where it isn't supposed to be and its causing a short of some kind. Probably a short across the switch or the relay. For a temporary fix, put the car somewhere dry for a couple days and see if it still does it. Long term fix - check out all the wires and connections and try to waterproof them better.
Another possiblity is you could have a bad unlock switch or a bad relay.
