1991 Firebird do i have a DLC connector to manually check the Error Codes?

My firebird is having a hard time starting. I have to pump the gas pedal continously to keep it choking along till it gets 'normal'. It doesn't happen all the time, but almost everytime. Once it is up and running everything is fine. Also, the speedometer doesn't work for the first 1-3 miles of my drive.

The Check Engine light flashes at me quickly at the begining of my drive also......

Do the 1991 Firebirds have a way to manually check the error codes? I don't know where my 12-pin DLC connector is...(if I even have one).

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

It will be under the edge of the dash by the drivers right knee.
