i jus recently bought a 1987 Iroc-Z28 camaro and it hasnt bin runing rite sense, so i scaned the cars computer and got a code number 33 (MAF sensor high) so i unhooked the battery to c if it would clear the code and it did, but when i tried starting the car it would only start if i gave it a little gas and as soon as i let off the gas it would jus shut off, please help

 

Check the TPS setting. I'm guessing it is below the spec.
