NO C238 connector
Hello all, My 1989 T/A was not equipped with a C238 at all. I have a 3 prong connector in place of it. They are the same color wires(ORANGE,ORANGE/BLACK,PINK) and definitely power everything in the console ie: power window, and power mirrors. I need to figure out why there is no talk of this, and if i can just cut off the wires and wire in a c238 box to add a power seat. Thanks

That is because there was a late production change in 1989 that eliminated the C238 connector and they added a smaller little junction connector there to handle the power seats, and door locks. Most of the other wires that went to the C238 connector were added to the power wire by splices in the harness under the dash.
