I experienced somethin real wierd yesterday on the freeway. I have the speedo that only goes to 80, and I was mashin down the freeway and I noticed the needle will only go to right after the MPH I know I was going faster but it wont go past that. But anyways the wierd thing is it will sit there for about 15 seconds as I keep accelerating adn then bam blows the gauge fuse and the speedo, tac, ameter all die. Is this normal?

 

it is kind of strange. However, pegging the meter which would put more strain on it causing an increase in amps. Make sure you have the right size fuse in there. I think its a 10 amp fuse.

 

yea I had the right fuse in it, maybe its just somethin wrong with my car
