no brakelights

Engine: 350 tuned port. bolt ons
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
no brakelights
my brother has an RX-7 that has no brakelights. when he turns is headlights on at night the back light up but when he hits the brakes no lights light up. any thing to look for. i need some help before he gets rearended

Engine: enough to break stuff
Transmission: manual th400
Axle/Gears: 4.10
fuse first. then brake light switch, make sure he has power to it and you get the 12v when u hit the brakes. then follow the wire back and see where you dont get it.
