TPS voltage

TPS voltage

whats the voltage suppose to be on the tps sensor? i think im having one take a dump on me.

between .45 and .50 volts.

Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
2.8 vinS = o.55v ± o.1ov
5.0 vinE = <1.25v
5.0 vinF = o.54v ± o.1ov
5.7 vin8 = o.54v ± o.1ov

It's better to test the TPS with an analog voltmeter and watch for a smooth rise in voltage with the throttle opening.

ok, done that, its showing .49 constant and not increasing nor decreasing when i open and close the butterfly, is it safe to say it's bad or am i not doing something right.

If you feel that you are testing it correctly, then I would say it is toast.
