electric fan wiring
my 87's wiring was all hacked up by the previous owner and now i need to wire up my aftermarket electric fan (flex-a-lite black magic)
where can i splice into to get 12v ign?
i tried to go directly to the fuse box but the fuse for the gauges keep blowing.
will using a relay help?

DON'T GO THERE

Don’t even go there. You should use a relay. The relay
coil draws only a fraction of an amp so it won’t blow fuses.
Then, connect the other side of the relay to the battery with a dedicated
fuse. </FONT>
