Replacing "door ajar" tone.
I've attempted to find information pertaining to this, but to no avail. I'm interested in replacing my camaro's warning signal with a similar part from a Nissan 240sx. Does anyone have any insights, ideas or cautions about such a project?

IDK what a Camaro one sounds like, but a bird just has an annoying "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" lol
I like the chime from the Chevy Berettas. Elegant chime. Sounds faster if you leave your lights on and engine is off.....BTW....direct swap

Haha, that's exactly what I'm talking about!
The camaro's tone seems to say "Hey you drunk imbecile! Close the door!" where the 240sx's chime seems to go "Excuse me, honorable sir. Your door is ajar."
Thanks for the head's up on the Beretta. I really didn't consider that chevy would have a different tone in a different model of car - I'll try to find one this weekend.

or you could get the voice module from the mid to late 80's 300zx's. it has this female voice that goes "beep, your door is ajar, beep..........your door is ajar". now that would be a swap. lol
