Ghost in the machine...Alarm System
So after a number of years of mystery, I might have finally solved the problem of random alarms - and somehow I just stumbled upon it.
My alarm falses whenever it feels like it, and there never seemed to be a rhyme or reason. I had a glassbreak and shock sensor wired onto the only extra accessory wire available. Even after adding a diode in-line, the problem persisted. I finally cut one of them out, thinking I must be getting some sort of feedback from that line. It made no difference.
So this year, after getting my car out of storage, there didn't seem to be any problems. I could set the alarm and leave it without coming back to annoyed neighbours and random codes flashing. Out of the blue the other day, it started falsing again. But I noticed that my fog lights were on.
AND THAT'S THE PROBLEM! If I leave the foglights on, the alarm will false shortly after setting it. Turn them off, and it works like an alarm should. I never did the wiring on that part of the car, but it was a long time ago regardless...can anyone guess where the fault is? It doesn't have to be fixed, since I now know how to control the issue, but I'm still interested in where the wires are crossed...and ideas, let me know.

DAMMIT!!! I was inspired for about half a day...and now I'm back to square one. It's gotta be something other than the fog lights...
