intermittent injector pulse problem... ecm?
Hey guys,
Last week while cruising around (and embarassing a few flame stickered honda's) the camaro just up and quit on me. After letting it sit for a while, it started back up. I got it home and started trying to figure it out. After running for a while, the injectors all quit. Sometimes immediately after happening the car will start back up, other times i have to let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. I figured the control module had gone bad and just stopped sending pulse when it warms up... the people at advanced tested it and said it was ok. I replaced it anyhow, the car ran good for two days, then it happened again.
The only thing i can think is that the ecm must have a bad part causing a grounding problem.
Also, the cooling fans have never worked right (they're on a switch). If i hook them up, they turn on and off and on and off causing the engine to rev up and down. If the fan is unplugged the relay kicks on and stays on. Anyone else think this is an ecm grounding problem?
