Heater Control Unit Wiring
Searched and can't put the pieces together. I have a 1990 RS with A/C. The heater control wires fried, and I found the problem, and got new wiring harness - but I believe the harness is not correct for my car.
The new harness has two wires missing from the connector, that correspond to postion 1 and 2 on the control head slide (max, norm, bilevel, vent, heat, defog). I also have 2 wires in the car that have no where to connect to the new harness, a smaller dark green wire and a smaller black (or brown, can't tell) wire.
Do I have the right harness for my A/C car? Why no wires for those positions on the control head? Do my extra wires go there, and which goes to which connector?

I think you might have a harness for a v8..dark green and blk wire run on the 90 v6 VIN T
