suggestions on delayed off for the radio
all right, so i have a 89 iroc that i would like to install something to make the radio stay on for a few minutes when i shut off the car (like in newer gm vehicles). the goal would be for it to stay on for 15min and shut off when the drivers and only the drivers door is opened.
im lookin for suggestions on how to do this and to see if anyone else has done it
thanks guys for any info

Because you’re good in electronics it’ll
cost you next to nothing to make one.
Use an NE555 timer chip.
Set your RC value to derive 15m.
Feed the output into your radio’s on/off device.
Connect the trigger to your left door switch and you’re good to go!
.
Happy Racing !
