Electronics Need help wiring something up? Thinking of adding an electrical component to your car? Need help troubleshooting that wiring glitch?

Headlight Issues...

Car: 1991 Firebird Formula WS6
Engine: LB9
Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: 3.42's
Headlight Issues...

ok the problem started today....

whats wrong

1. Driver Side Light is Dim, Passenger Side is normal
2.They Pop Up From Down Without A Problem
3.When i turn them off they dont go down, but instead the motors make a clicking sound like their trying to go down in really slow motion
4.If i unplug the drivers side motor from underneath the passenger side goes down without a problem
5.earlier on in the day it happend aswell but i jiggled a wire loom by the drivers side light and they worked perfect after that... then i decided to try them a little later after a short drive and their acting up again...

now thats all the info i can think of right now... does it sound like a loose ground? or possibly the headlight doors module going? if these are the common symptoms to something.. what are they for?

ha at least yours still work i tryed everything new relays and all and no matter what i do mine are stuck up

went outside to work on her today.. and it was just a bad ground....tightened the bolt up and now she works perfectly again!

Yep, a bad ground is usually the main cause for dim lights and other things you mentioned.
