What distributor should I get?
I knew it was time for a new distributor when I had to get my timing re-adjusted 3 times in a month. I still have my stock one off of my old 305. Now I'm running a chevy 350 and I honestly don't know crap about distributors. Can anyone recommend a good distributor that I can put in my car?

I'm considering buying this ignition kit: JEGS High Performance - MSD SB/BB-Chevy Ignition Kit Does anyone have any thoughts on it?

I have 1 of these in my car and 1 in my truck. I also have ordered 2 more for other people. Superfast shipping and no problems.I used all of his parts for my head/cam swap also.

do you have ECM controled carb still or did you remove all that when ypu put the 350 in ? is the 305 one the original computer one ?
nothing wrong with using the 305 one it fits and works all chevy small blocks from 55-95
if the 350 is totally stock factory and its not a race car then theres no real need for anything more than original HEI
really.
some ppl like to spend money or supposedly more volts/performance just so they can say that they did
wierd,.
stock hei puts out more than enough voltage, definitely
good luck

I have a performance 350 that's purely mechanical. All the computer controls were pulled out of the orginal 305 when I got the car. I've put about 8 grand into my engine so I'd say its a step above "stock"
