i have a 87 trans am with a all digital dash. i swaped the motor to a carbed 383 blower motor and the dash speedo and gas gauge do not work. i hooked up all cables and wires to their proper places but took out all emmisoins and injectors of course. car starts, runs, and drive great. The speedo will change speeds while driving at a constant speed (ex. 25, 103,43,75mph in one minute). the bar gas gauge is pegged. has anyone swaped a tpi to carb with a digital dash???? or does anyone know what may be the cause of speedo and gas gauge to read incorrectly?


p.s. i had this motor and transmission in a 86 trans am with a non digital dash and everything on the dash worked/read perfectly
