the ground is usually a single black wire connected to the body of the blower by a clip on one of the screws that hold the unit on the plastic case.

alright so mines has 2 black wires a bigger wire and a smaller black wire both go to the same connector nd plug into a clip that is on a screw but those wires show no ground so re-run a ground to it? Also the purple wire in the 4 inserconnector on top of the blower shows a constant 12.3 v evne when the ignition is off and the other 3 dont show anything on and of the setting well one shows 12.3 on high speed but the other 2 are 0 thanks.

ok so i figured it out just incase anyone else has a smimmilar problem. like i had said earlyer my ground connection had 2 black wires comming off of it a big wire and a smaller wire. Turns out the big wire was giving it a constant hot 12v feed for what ever reson i dont know. so i cut that wire off and ran my own ground wire to where that 12v black wire had been hooked up and boom it works. im not sure what the small black wire is but its needed with the ground on that same connector for the motor to work.
