Need help locating fuel pump wire

I'm about to start my new engine with new wire harness on my 1986 TPI Camaro. I understood and labeled most of the wires in the engine compartment . I'm missing the wire that actually goes to the fuel pump. Does that one end inside the cab under the dash or does it go all the way to the engine compartment? I think I remember seeing it hanging under the vehicle a while ago, but I just checked and there are no hanging wires. Where is this wire routed through?

Also, If I look from the rear left wheel, there's a connector right above the tank, behind the rear seats (on the outside of the vehicle). I found it disconnected but car was running before the swap. Is this for the fuel pump?

Any help appreciated.

Yes, it is also for your fuel gauge.
The pump wiring will run from the harness you saw at the rear outside, behind the drivers side rear, along the inner rocker panel/rail and then, to the bulkhead under the dash, where it comes out of the firewall next to the brake booster.
