steering column of hell.
i have a 1991 camaro RS. It does not have cruise control. It does have a tilt wheel. The tilt wheel was loose, so I took it apart, and found a few issues causeing me other problems which i'm pretty sure include: My BRIGHTS do not switch on because the little steel rod is bent. My left blinker indicator on the dash stays lit all the time when i turn the lights on. Both blinkers up front are always on. When i turn on my left blinker with the lights on, it blinks really fast and one of my brake lights in the back blinks too. My left parking light(up front) does not work even with a good bulb. A black wire on the blinker switch assembly is ripped in half. my horn buttons dont work, but I don't care about that as much.
And I can tell the steering cloumn has been apart before, and honastly, i'm ready to pay someone to come out and fix it all like brand new for me.
What would really help me out right now, would be to talk to someone who's done this before, or even better has pictures of how it's meant to be. (Right now all i care about It the brights switch, I think splicing the cut wires will fix the crazy numerous lighting issues that seem to be all on the left side of the car.
as usual...any help appreciated.
EDIT: I hear alot of people talking about their dimmer switch going out, Is that the long rod that goes down the steering column? and if it is...mines really out of wack and not lining up with the little platsic bar that is meant to push on it that goes between the blinker switch and the dimmer rod.
