SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
I've got a problem with my tbi. Whenever i go to crank up the car by pouring some fuel in the throttle body then starting it up it shuts off then squirts out fuel... i have one wire on the car that i don't know where it goes... i just did and engine swap from a 305 to a 350 and i've gotten everything hooked up but that wire and a couple of vacuum lines coming off the tbi. at first the injectors weren't even firing then i tried hooking it up to the battery and even the altenator and i know it didn't go to those... but i'm stumped and i tried anything i could think of... but now i have it hooked up to the battery and at first nothing. i even put a test light on the injector plugs and nothing but then after a few tries suddenly they sprayed after the car shut off... so that was a little progress i guess... i'm pretty sure that that wire has to do with the problem but i can't figure out where it goes... its the red wire coming from the plug that goes in the altenator and the gauge in the terminal is pretty big can somebody please help me because i don't know what to do... i'm pretty sure its one of the main power wires, i've already got the one for the lights and crap hooked up to the altenator and i don't remember that one being there but it works so oh well... but this wire has just got me stumped if i can figure that out then i think i've got my problem straight... someone please help me.... thanks

huh?
what is exactly you're asking?the tbi suirting,or you're alt wire?the heavy red from alt goes to battery,surely you didn't hook the tbi to the battery? Thread Starter

??? alright u confused me... i'm sorry maybe i jumbled all my crap together... ok... my fuel injectors are squirting now but after it shuts off... i want to know where the wire that come OUT of the plug that is on the altenator goes... no i didn't put my tbi on my battery... i don't even know what u mean by that... what i'm asking is where that wire goes its the red one coming out of the four prong plug that plugs in the altenator... i think that has something to do with my injectors... help please!
