Where is it?

Hey Auto Brothers I have a question... Where is the ECM plug located you know the one under the hood looks like a clip kind of plug. I looked in the Haynes Auto book but it's not where it say's it is. there are so many plugs under there also how do you know if you have got the right one?
Will the car not start or no lights come on?

if you have a picture it would help alot

Re: Where is it?

The ECM main power connects right to the battery. It's an orange wire wth a connector that is similar to that of an O2 sensor. If it's unplugged, the SES will not flash when the key is turned to the run position, and the light will stay on while the engine is running.

That's the wire, the orange one, and I circled the connector.

Haynes is garbage, go to

www.helminc.com and get yourself a service manual. You'll be glad you did.
