help please: where is mercury switch/underhood light...83 z28??
Hi, I have a light under the hood that works fine, but it stays on when closed. I thought someone said it may have a bad mercury switch. Any idea where this is under the hood. I have a 1983 z28, thanks, Dennis...please email me with info at:

the switch should be in the base of the light housing.
you can bend the housing down some which will probably get it to work right.
