Putting 82 tail lights back in my car?

Car: 1982 Trans Am & 1982 Corvette
Engine: L-98 with LO-3 induction. 350 CFI
Transmission: 5 speed and vette has 700r4
Axle/Gears: 373's in T/A .. vette unknown
Putting 82 tail lights back in my car?
I converted all wiring in my 82 trans am to 1990 stuff & now I want to replace the the 1990 firebird tail lights with either stock 82 lights or 85-89 trans am tail lights.
How do I change the wiring to accomplish this ? ....
I'm not much into wireless connectors and such so where can I buy a factory harness plug (the square 6 pin connect) that connects the tail light harness to the main harness & where can I buy the pins for the connector.
Or could I just do the changes at the tail light bulb sockets?
