previous owner, wtf did he do!?

i bought this as somewhat of a project from kind of a ******* that probably did stuff to the car that he had no idea how to do. just keep that in mind.

here's what it's doing -

1. Push the headlight switch, headlights turn on but do not flip up, or choose to wait 5 - 30 minutes before doing so. if they decide to not flip they make a clicking sound at the same moment i push the button. on the days they choose to flip up automatically right when i push the button, they flip flawlessy.

2. on my driver side in the front my park lights/blinker have a mind of their own. on more days then not they do not light up at all .. not when i make a left turn .. and not when the park lights are on. (though in either case the left turn arrow is solid inside the car) .... however, sometimes i put my park lights on and they magically come on, sometimes only one and sometimes only the other. same with putting on the left turn signal. i might put the signal on and they actually work, but then suddenly stop blinking and remain solid, or stop lighting up all together.

(when my 4 ways are on, they all light up and they all blink perfectly, every time)

someone please help me out if you can

always hate asking for help but can't seem to go it alone, or atleast go it successfully alone

I would try replacing all the bulbs and checking all the wires you can find for loose connection. Just sounds like general connection problems, if things are acting up intermittently. And if the turn signal on the dash is solid, it usually means the bulb is out. Could also mean a wire is shorting or is not connected. so go over all connection, and replace all bulbs. Hope that helps.
