First off my 82 has all 1990 electronics throughout the car!

My question is this how do I wire up a 1982 power trunk release switch to the 1990 wires in my dash? there are 3 electrical plugs in the area where my power release switch is. For 1990 what colors are the wires for the hatch release switch? ...... In a 1982 is there a place in the trunk to mount the release solenoid or motor in a car that never had one? ...... what color are the wires in a 1990 in the trunk for this release motor?

These three plugs where my power release switch are probably P/trunk release, Defroster, maybe something for the radio. Thats why I asked for wire colors of these plugs so I get the right one.

I have a bunch of wires in my trunk most of which I believe are for the power trunk pull down, third brake light etc. This is the area where I need to know which color wire is for the release solenoid.

If you have 1990 wiring diagrams of these two areas please post them.
