did these cars come with pull down only? because my car has a pull down motor but no switch to open it.i was just wondering.

 

From 86 and up (I think) had an electric pull down. The hatch release switch was optional along with power windows. My son has a '91 RS that originally had manual windows and no hatch switch. I added PW's and PHR but opted to not install the switch for security purposes (although minimal). His release is wired in to his alarm and the key FOB will release it.
