Driver's Side Power Window doesn't work?!?
hey i'm not a big car expert and was wondering if someone could tell me why my power window on the drivers side doesn't work at all! (i know this might be the cause of several things but please guide me so that i know where to start looking) I'm thinking maybe the motor. If thats the problem then where is the motor for the power window located and wat would be the part # i would need to replace it? thx

Re: Driver's Side Power Window doesn't work?!?
The motor is in the door and it's really not fun to change. I took a meter to the switch to check for power then when I pulled the door panel I checked at the motor for power. Just to make sure I wasn't shorting in between. Ground and drilled some rivets, got the old one out, tried lining everything up, swore, swore some more, figured out why I was swearing and riveted the new one back in with a really crappy rivet gun. Not fun at all. It looks simple but it fought every step of the way. I bought a window motor from ebay so I figure i'll have to do it again someday.
