Whats wrong with my dash instrument panel??
I just got the car back and I was told that everything is fine but when I speed up from gradually giving it gas; the temp gauge goes up to the red then it seems like the coolant comes on and everything stabilizes after the SES light comes on. All gauges are working except for the minor inconvenience of every once in a while having to use a paperclip to disengage the oil pressure gauge needle from being stuck. Hense why there is one hole drilled into the oil temp gauge and two in the water temp gauge. My I dont mind spending the money but right now its tight because of other issues. But I was wondering if that would be a computer issue (ECM) why the car would just bring on the SES light. I drove it all the way up to CT from VA that way. I had no problems at all not even losing oil/antifreeze/trannie fluid. Just wanted to know if anyone would have an answer for this ghost in my maro.
Here is a pic of the interior; car isnt running just wanted to show you the bar bones of it and any suggestions on a quick and easy fix for it as well as brightning up the instrument panel; (lights on floorboard work great) But they have no covers so I might just cover them.
Let me know guys

A bit of paint and/or some higher intensity bulbs will brighten the cluster. Check the following link:
