I would like some advice on purchasing a scantool. I see they go from $20 to $5,000.00. i would like one that can do all 1982 and up cars (import / export) and has the datastream capability, sensor checks, etc. i also understand some people buy software that mimics a scantool and you just need a USB cable? If someone can give me some details on the above I would appreciate it. I want one that can be updated and is a really nice unit that a dealer tech wouldn't laugh at.
