MSD distributor with stock ignition.

Got an 85551 pro billet that I want to try running with my stock ignition. I'm currently running a 3 wire HEI (3 wires from the dizzy base to the cap). I can use either a blaster SS coil or 8202 coil since I have both.

Any ideas on how to wire this up? I'm NOT going to use an MSD ignition box after all the horror stories.

Re: MSD distributor with stock ignition.

You will definitely need some kind of ignition box to use that distributor.
It only has a mag pickup output. It is a good dist. though.
