Put your stock senders on your new engine.

Re: ?gauges and sensors

stock sensors are LONG gone and I don't know what wire is supose to go from the unit to the gauges

I can see buying a temperature unit but what about the oil pressure one? is there somewhere that can tell me all the places on a sbc I can put sending units?

Go down to the parts store and get some new ones then.

A coolant temperature sender can go in any port that has coolant behind it (usually the ports int he head), an oil pressure sender can go in any port that has pressurized oil behind it (on the top of the block beside the distributor, or above the oil filter).

Re: ?gauges and sensors

Check the wiring diagram for the car and find the wires with the colors listed. They're both single wire connectors.
