Finally got my car plated yesterday and the wires from the starter to the battery cooked. The power cable and ground to the block-off plate melted last night. I figured they touched the headers but as I was looking at it today in sunlight, not even close. The one wire from the starter (thick) looks like a dog chewed it, it's burnt so bad. Near the battery, couple wires are fused together they melted so much. I have no idea what happened. I replaced my starter a couple weeks ago and it fired up with no problems. Get it on the road, get to the end of my street and smoke everywhere! What gives? Would this piece/part have anything to do with my problem?
