electric single to electric dual fans
I am doing a tbi to tpi swap and had my harness converted but the fan setup is still single. Is there a proper way to go from single to dual. Any wiring diagrams or anyone that has completed this swap!

Open the link below. Open the downloads, open the component instructions, and review the wiring instructions (for single and dual fans).

Or you can use this

for dual fans I would install another relay and have them both operate off the same signal from the ECM. So when it grounds 1 relay it grounds the other too and both fans come on.
In my preference if I had dual fans I would have them both come on and off at the same time.

you can also wire in a safety switch that will ground the control side of the relay just in case the computer craps out or the sensor goes bad. I got stuck on the Belt Parkway once because of a bad relay and I will never let that happen again. just connect your ecu control wire and another wire to the control side of the relay. then run the other wire under the dash to a switch. then run a wire from the switch to any ground. now you have the fans manually controllable if you ever have a problem. a 5 dollar safety feature that could have saved me hundreds!!!
