I'm thinking about getting a 87 firebird that has a rattler car alarm. It was installed a few years ago and from circuit city and they dont carry it anymore and refuse to help me. So here is the problem. Apparently what happend is, the car alarm just went off, the guy couldnt turn it off and im not sure how he turned it off. The batt in the car now is dead so I will suppy a good one. He said after it happend, he would try to start the car and it wouldnt turn over. I've read around found that i could try to pull the fuse or disconnect the alarm. I will be going to look at the car again tomorrow. Any ideas?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nevermind we got it. I just disconnected the whole alarm, car started right up!
